Do you want a custom fitted and designed bodice pattern for any year between 1825 and 1870? Perhaps conventional patterns are too difficult to fit or you possess an uneven body. Or maybe you just like the idea of having a pattern made for you the historical method by draping! Employ Katelyn to drape a pattern on you.
This requires an in person visit. Be sure you are in the central Texas area or are willing to travel to Central Texas before ordering. Email [email protected] PRIOR TO ORDERING to clarify. Alternately, if you have a committed friend, I can set up a Zoom meeting where I instruct your friend on how to drape. This way you get my personalized feedback and support in getting a good fit.
To be able to drape a historical shape, you MUST have your chemise and period corset. If you want custom skirt directions as well, you must have all petticoats/hoops/skirt supports as well prior to our meeting.
After the drafting session, Katelyn will take the draped bodice and ship your personalized pattern to you. You will also receive detailed written instructions on how to make up your new dress. Remember that you always have tech support available via email!
